Squash Tips!

I discovered my buttercup squash were rooting all along the vine.
Curcubita Maximas tend to root at the leaf nodes, which makes for a more prolific plant.  So plant the c.maximas where they can take advantage of doing some extra rooting  for nourishing bigger and larger numbers of squash.    If you plant them and they trail onto a lawn, consider digging spaces under the leaf nodes  so that they can work  a small root into the soil.
